Henry Ford Maples Grove Center offers the full scope of addiction treatment, including 24-hour residential care, detoxification, medication-assisted treatment, individual and group therapy, and family support programs. Our board-certified addiction experts have proven treatment plans that can safely put you or your loved one on the road to recovery. Our program is accredited by The Joint Commission and nationally recognized for excellence in addiction treatment by Blue Cross Blue Shield and Cigna.
Responsibilities
Provides leadership in coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.
Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Provides, delegates, supervises, and documents care and teaching of patients and family.
Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to the health care team.
Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.
Unit-based contingent that reports directly to the Unit Manager/Unit Director.
Meets all accountabilities of a Registered Nurse.
Location & Hours Location:
Henry Ford Maples Grove Center – 6773 W Maple Road West Bloomfield, MI 48322
Hours:
Varies depending on department needs. Covers vacations, call-offs, weekends, and coverage during peak times as needed.
Must be available for full-time orientation Monday-Friday in the first week.
Education / Experience
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
Previous 1-2 years recent related clinical nursing experience and a demonstrated level of performance and practice.
Minimum of 1-year recent Med/Surg experience.
Substance use disorder experience preferred; mental health nursing experience may be acceptable.
Skill Requirements
Venipuncture experience required.
EKG experience required.
IV start experience required.
Certifications / Licensure
Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
