Fusion Medical Staffing‑Cath Lab is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Marshfield, Wisconsin.

Required Qualifications
One year’s recent experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
Valid ARRT or RCIS/RCES certification in compliance with state regulations
Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
Preferred Qualifications
Current ACLS certification (AHA/ARC)
Valid Radiologic Technologist license in compliance with state regulations
PALS or ENPC certification
Other certifications or licenses may be required for this position
Responsibilities
Prepare and position patients for interventional radiology procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
Operate imaging equipment (fluoroscopy, CT, ultrasound) to guide procedures.
Assist physicians by scrubbing in for sterile procedures, passing instruments, and maintaining a sterile field.
Monitor and document patient vital signs and procedural details.
Administer contrast media and monitor for adverse reactions.
Ensure proper radiation safety measures for patients, staff, and self.
Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment, ensuring readiness for procedures.
Manage and restock procedural supplies.
Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other team members to provide seamless patient care.
Follow infection control, safety, and regulatory protocols.
Provide patient education before, during, and after procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned to support IR lab operations.
Essential Skills
Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
Proficiency in English language, reading & writing, following verbal instructions.
PC skills.
Physical ability to remain stationary, move equipment up to 100 lbs, push, pull, bend.
Ability to work effectively with a variety of personnel under pressure.
Technical motor skills for fine manipulation and assisting with procedures.
Ability to cope with frequent public contact and meet deadlines under supervision or independently.
Visual acuity and effective communication, including sensory requirements, as appropriate.
