As an RN with current Operating Room experience, you will be part of the Orthopaedic & Spine Hospital team at UAMS Health. Nurses provide direct patient care, coordinate with clinic providers, fellows and staff, and deliver outstanding patient safety and evidence‑based practice. The RN develops and implements individualized health plans and works collaboratively to ensure patient recovery and safety. Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program with an Associate’s Degree, Nursing Diploma, Bachelor’s in Nursing, or Master’s in Nursing Valid Registered Nursing License Minimum of 1 year of Registered Nursing experience Basic computer skills Excellent communication skills Strong work ethics and accountability Preferred Qualifications: Current BLS ACLS certification Scrubbing experience Orthopedic experience a plus Responsibilities
Deliver nursing care within the limits of the Nurse Practice Act of Arkansas. Collect and document assessment data. Develop a Plan of Care and implement it with a medical order and interdisciplinary approach. Evaluate progress toward desired outcomes. Provide effective patient/family education and discharge planning. Administer medication per standard with drug information to patients/families. Serve as a resource/support for others. Delegate care based on UAMS standards, legal and regulatory requirements. Contribute to a positive work environment that supports clinical education. Perform any other duties assigned. Employees in this role must be capable of wearing and performing routine tasks in personal protective equipment including N95 masks, PAPRs or CAPRs. Salary
