Pre Operative Care Unit
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or a diploma program. For new hires after 2012, Bachelor of Science Degree in nursing (BSN) is required within specified timeframe as outlined in the New Hire BSN Agreement policy (126.045).
Successful completion of Annual Orthopedic education requirements upon hire and then annually as outlined in the Orthopedic Program(s) Education plan.
Previous PACU, ER, or ICU experience.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within one (1) year of hire.
Basic working knowledge of commonly used computer applications.
Preferred Qualifications
BSN: Bachelor of Science in Nursing
Required License And Certs
ACLS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support BLS: Basic Life Support/CPR FL RN: FL Registered Nurse License
