Medical Oncologist with GI Oncology Focus
The Cancer Care Service Line at Corewell Health is seeking a Medical Oncologist with a GI Oncology Focus to join our growing team. Our patients benefit from innovative, cutting‑edge treatments and state‑of‑the‑art programs.
About Our Cancer Center Corewell Health’s Cancer Center collaborates across the Corewell Health network, including Corewell Health West Michigan and community providers. We specialize in treating complex cancers with individualized plans.

Specialized radiation oncologists
Breast diagnostic center
Nurse navigation, palliative care services, psychiatric oncology, cancer rehab
Pursuing NCI designation
Scheduled to launch a Hematology Oncology fellowship training program in 2026
Qualifications
Board eligible or board certified in Hematology Oncology (plus GI Oncology specialization)
Board eligible/board certified in Hematology Oncology
Experience with clinical trials is a plus
Doctorate (MD or DO)
Licensed physician (MD or DO) in Michigan upon hire
DEA registration in Michigan upon hire
BLS (AHA or ARC) within 120 days of hire
ACLS if required by specialty within 120 days of hire
