to join our Newborn Nursery program at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois.

8-hour shifts (weekdays, weekends, and holidays)
Carle Foundation Hospital is a 489-bed regional hospital that offers
Level III Perinatal Services
and is the only
Level I Trauma Center
in the area
Unit operates 24/7
Support provided by 24-hour in-house Pediatric Hospitalists. Pediatric subspecialties onsite include Gastroenterology, Neurology, Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics, Pulmonology, Sleep, Genetics, Pediatric Surgery, Cardiology, Psychology, Child Maltreatment, Ophthalmology, Anesthesiology, and Urology
Coordinate patient care for newborns including physical assessment, implementation, evaluation, and post-discharge for patients and their families
Function as a clinical leader, consultant and educator in collaboration with physicians, nurses and all health care team members

Education Requirements Master's degree in Nursing
Licensure/Certification Requirements Current Illinois registered nurse license and advanced practice nurse licensure Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification required

Compensation and Benefits The compensation range for this position is $59.38 - $77.20/hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
