Responsibilities
Under the direct supervision of a licensed PT, assist with the implementation of the therapy plan of care.
Delegate and direct supportive personnel for assigned patients to enhance patient care services.
Consistently communicate with supervising PT regarding scheduled patients to ensure identification of need for assessment, reassessment, modification of treatment plans and other interventions requiring therapist direction.
Participate in education of patients, families, students, coworkers, and self.
Perform other professional duties associated with the care of the patient, within the scope of practice.
Minimum Qualifications
Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant required.
Certified BLS or completion within the first 90 days of employment required.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred candidate has one or more years of experience.
