The Clinic Services Assistant promotes the M Physicians’ philosophy of patient centered care by guiding patients through the efficient operation of both reception check-in and checkout procedures. In the heart of North Minneapolis and in an area with deep community ties, the team at Broadway Family Medicine Clinic has been serving the community for more than 40 years. Dedicated to providing the full spectrum of family medicine to patients of all ages, our providers emphasize prevention and wellness, as well as a broad knowledge of the patient in the context of the family and the community. In partnership with North Memorial Health, our clinic is home to the University of Minnesota Family Medicine Residency Training Program. Committed to training the next generation of urban-based family doctors, our team ensures every voice in the clinic is heard. Residency Clinics support the training and development of Family Medicine Residents for the 3 years of their Residency. They are community based locations caring for the community patients in their area. The sites bring value to learning and community care. What You Will Do as a Clinic Services Assistant
Responsible for patient registration and monitoring the clinic lobby Check-in patients for clinic services according to scripts and clinic process Complete registration process, print labels and prepare new patient registrations as requested Request, obtain, and send medical records and diagnostic test results for patient visits to scheduled provider office What You Will Need
1+ years clerical experience in a medical or customer service setting Previous computer entry experience with ability to learn new applications and work processes Knowledge of basic medical terminology and keyboarding skills Knowledge of environment of care and infection control policies Location:
