Job Summary PACU Nurse

– As a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Post‑Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), you will provide compassionate, high‑quality care that greatly impacts patient well‑being and recovery. Your role requires a patient‑first mindset, keen assessment skills, acute critical thinking, and a deep enthusiasm for helping others.

Responsibilities Every day you will leverage your expertise to deliver individualized, comprehensive care, perform critical assessments, execute skilled procedures, and meticulously implement patient care plans. You will collaborate seamlessly within an interdisciplinary team, contributing to a dynamic environment focused on optimal patient outcomes.

Perform a complete patient assessment.

Recognize significant changes in patient status and seek appropriate resources.

Coordinate or collect physiologic monitoring data: vital signs, monitor results, laboratory and diagnostic test results.

Document assessment in compliance with hospital policy.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate and plan patient care provision.

Obtain and/or verify all physician orders for procedures, medications, and therapies.

Job Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, upon hire.

Registered Nurse (RN) license – Arkansas, upon hire.

Basic Life Support – CPR, within 30 days of hire.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), within 90 days of hire.

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), within 90 days of hire.

Pay Range $32.38 – $43.68 per hour.
