Temporary Therapist – 6 Month Contract – $60 an Hour
Portland, Oregon – Cedar Hills Hospital, 98‑bed behavioral health hospital. 6‑month temporary therapist position. Hourly pay $60 an hour.
Responsibilities
Run group therapy sessions.
Meet individually with patients.
Assist with discharge planning.
Join treatment team meetings.
Work 5–8 hour shifts, day schedule.
Qualifications Education:
Master’s Degree in Social Work or related mental health field.
Experience:
Prefer one of three years in a psychiatric health care facility with family/group therapies and crisis intervention. New Master’s graduates encouraged.
Licensure:
State certified in social work or clinical mental health field (LMSW or LCSW license required or working to obtain).
Additional Requirements:
CPR certification; Handle With Care and Verbal De‑Escalation training within 30 days; pass competency exam; flexible hours and overtime possible.
