Job Description
Conduct comprehensive assessments of physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients.
Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans.
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely following physician orders and hospital protocols, monitoring for adverse reactions.
Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self‑care strategies.
Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information, care activities, interventions, and outcomes.
Evaluate effectiveness of care plans and interventions continuously, making adjustments.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication to patients and families.
Supervise and delegate care provided by members of the healthcare team.
Engage in continuous professional development and performance improvement activities.
Respond to code situations promptly and effectively.
Qualification Requirements
Associate’s degree in Nursing (required)
Bachelor’s of Nursing
Acute/Critical Care Clinical Nurse Specialist (CCNS) – EV Accredited Issuing Body
Advanced Burn Life Support (ABLS) – EV Accredited Issuing Body
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement
