Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Andover, Minnesota
A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at an early childhood school in Andover, MN. This contract position is for the current school year (CSY) and offers experience working with young learners in a supportive educational setting.
Key Qualifications and Experience
Certification and/or licensure as an SLP, including ASHA CCC preferred
Experience working in pediatric settings, particularly early childhood education
Familiarity with teletherapy service delivery methods beneficial
Recent graduates completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) encouraged to apply
Experience as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) supportive but not required
Background in school-based and healthcare environments is valuable
Primary Responsibilities
Conduct speech and language evaluations tailored to children in early childhood programs
Implement individualized treatment plans that target communication goals
Collaborate with educators, parents, and healthcare providers to support student progress
Provide services through in-person and teletherapy platforms as needed
Maintain accurate records and progress reports aligned with program standards
Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive learning environment
