Nurse Practitioner-Neurology Join the growing team of physicians/clinician-scientists at

Banner Alzheimers Institute (BAI)

that are setting international benchmarks in neurodegenerative clinical care, research and education in Alzheimers Disease and related dementias, were seeking an advanced Practice Provider to support our memory and cognitive disorders neurology subspecialty. Ideal candidates will have the desire to work in a diverse clinical, research, and educational/training setting focused on memory/cognitive disorders. Our nonprofit mission is to make a positive impact on these patients through multidisciplinary care. This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic NP with experience in Neurology, Psychiatry, Family Medicine, or geriatrics to join our highly specialized team which includes neurologists, geriatric psychiatrists, geriatricians, nurse practitioners, neuropsychologists, and care navigators. New graduates looking to be mentored in their early career are also encouraged to apply. If you have a passion for combining comprehensive interdisciplinary patient care, in a highly resourced, non-WRVU-driven outpatient setting, with clinical research/trials and teaching opportunities, this could be a great fit for you.

BAI

is nationally and internationally recognized for cutting edge care that integrates research opportunities. BAI is just one of 30 NIH-funded national Alzheimers Disease Research Centers in the nation. Additional funding resources include the National Institutes of Health, the Foundation for NIH, the Michael Fox Foundation, and other philanthropic foundations. BAI maintains collaborations with nationally and internationally recognized centers such as Johns Hopkins University, Boston University, Washington University in St. Louis, Brigham and Womens Hospital and Harvard Medical School.

Qualifications:

Current Arizona state NP licensure

Neurology, psychiatry, or geriatric experience preferred but willing to train new graduates

Provides compassionate and empathetic care

Develops, refines, and implements effective healthcare strategies through lifelong learning

Diligent in maintaining accurate electronic medical records

Develops and maintains productive, professional relationships with physicians and staff to facilitate effective communication

Serve as the primary subspecialty referral resource for the western Phoenix metropolitan area
