Observations and reconstructions of water temperature and precipitation will be collected and examined for the Venice Lagoon, the Po Delta, and the Caorle Lagoon;reconstruction of the environmental conditions that led to the population explosion of the blue crab and identification of future climate scenarios,derived from Euro-Cordex simulations under current IPCC scenarios up to 2100, of such environmental conditions.The observations used will include both direct measurements from available stations (ARPAV, the Lagoon Agency, etc) and those obtained from modern model-based reanalysis methods.
