Life Enrichment Assistant
Join Front Porch Communities & Services in the Front Porch Vitality Initiative.
Salary:
$19.47/hr – $22.00/hr ( Full‑time ) – Sunday to Thursday, 9:00 am‑5:30 pm.
Summary Assists the Life Enrichment Director in planning and executing programming, activities and events that support the six dimensions of whole‑person wellness. May assume departmental leadership in the director’s absence.
Responsibilities
Provides quality customer service efficiently to residents, families, coworkers and vendors.
Coordinates resident and volunteer participation in life enrichment programming.
Collaborates closely with all departments involved in activity programs.
Timely places seasonal décor and supports the appropriate technical equipment needed for comprehensive activities.
Assists with administrative duties, including operation of common office equipment.
Manages departmental budget responsibly.
Follows department safety standards, participates in campus‑wide safety programs, and reports hazards or accidents.
Attends mandatory meetings and in‑services as required by the Executive Director.
Essential Competencies and Skills
Computer literacy; able to handle phones, fax, copier, and emergency call systems. Able to take vital signs of customers.
Effectively presents information in one‑on‑one and small group situations.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Education and Credentials
1 year college or technical school, or equivalent qualifications.
Pre‑employment physical, physical abilities test, drug screen and Department of Justice background clearance.
