Medication Aide Responsibilities
Set up and administer resident medications as ordered by physicians, following professional medication‑administration standards. May supervise CNAs as directed.
Assist patients with personal hygiene: bedpans, urinals, baths, back‑rubs, shampoos, and shaves; aid with bathroom travel and showers.
Support activities of daily living: serve meals, feed patients as needed, ambulate, turn, position patients, and provide fresh water and nourishment between meals.
Maintain patient stability: check vital signs and weight; test urine; record intake and output.
Qualifications
Must be licensed in [STATE] as a Medication Aide and maintain current, unencumbered licensure.
