Description You will be the Quality Engineer Senior for our Quality Engineering team. Our team is responsible for driving digital transformation and deploying future toolsets to enhance our quality engineering processes.

What You Will Be Doing As the Quality Engineer Senior, you will be responsible for leading Functional Quality Engineering efforts, focusing on digital transformation and future tool deployment initiatives. You will play a key role in shaping our quality engineering processes and procedures.

Understanding and analyzing Quality Engineering processes and procedures

Organizing and deploying QA tools to drive efficiency and effectiveness

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement digital transformation initiatives

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim secret clearance is required to start.

Basic Qualifications

STEM Bachelors degree or higher from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education

Must be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain a secret clearance

Knowledgeable of AS9100 standard and implementation of Quality Management System

Ability to interpret drawings and specifications for development of quality standards, methods, work instructions and procedures for inspection and test of manufactured products (electronic assemblies)

Experience conducting root cause analysis and corrective action planning

Understanding of Configuration Management and control processes

Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

Ability to travel (up to 20%)

Desired Skills

STEM bachelors degree or higher preferred.

Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance (GD&T)

Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt Certification or ASQ Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA)

Demonstrated ability to use causal analysis tools to analyze and resolve technical / process issues varying from basic to very complex

Quality Engineering or Supplier Quality experience as well as experience with developing and reviewing Quality Standards, methods, work instructional and procedures for inspection

An understanding of the Missiles & Fire Control (MFC) SAP

Experience and Apriso Manufacturing Execution System (MES)

Security Clearance Statement This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full‑time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
