Description We are representing a professional couple seeking a meticulous, reliable, and trustworthy housekeeper to manage the daily operations and maintenance of their private residence in the Sea Cliff neighborhood of San Francisco. The ideal candidate takes immense pride in their work, possesses a strong attention to detail, and can work independently to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization.
Experience Requirements 2 or more years of experience working in a private home with great references
Educational Requirements Fluency in English
Responsibilities
Perform all aspects of deep cleaning, tidying, and organizing across all areas of the home, including kitchens, bathrooms, living areas, bedrooms, and common spaces.
Dust, vacuum, sweep, and mop all flooring surfaces.
Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces regularly.
Empty and sanitize waste and recycling receptacles.
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of all cabinetry, drawers, and pantry areas.
Polish silver and care for fine finishes and antique furniture as needed.
2. Laundry & Wardrobe Management
Manage all household laundry, including washing, drying, folding, ironing, and putting away clothes and linens.
Change bed linens and towels weekly or as needed.
Care for specialty items following garment-specific instructions (e.g., hand wash, dry clean prep).
3. Kitchen & Meal Support
Clean and maintain the kitchen, including appliances (oven, microwave, refrigerator), counters, and sink.
Wash dishes and unload/load the dishwasher.
Light meal preparation may occasionally be requested (e.g., chopping vegetables, simple breakfast prep).
4. General Organization & Errands
Assist with decluttering and maintaining organized closets, storage areas, and common spaces.
Monitor and manage household inventory; create shopping lists for cleaning supplies and staple items.
Run occasional local errands, such as dropping off dry cleaning or mailing packages.
