Procurement Manager – Secure Issuance Location:

44084 The Procurement Manager leads HID’s secure issuance regional procurement team, overseeing sourcing, purchasing, and supplier quality for materials originating from North America and Asia‑Pacific. This role drives regional sourcing strategies while balancing cost, quality, and continuity. The manager owns day‑to‑day procurement operations, supplier management, and purchasing execution, and advances the function toward a regionally anchored supplier relationship capability. Responsibilities
Lead a regional team of buyers, planners, commodity managers, and supplier quality support by setting KPIs, managing performance, and fostering accountability. Oversee daily procurement operations, MRP execution, open order management, and supplier engagement. Serve as primary escalation point for global fulfillment risks, supply shortages, and critical supplier issues; drive resolution with cross‑functional teams. Align procurement activities with SIOP cycles, fulfillment operations, and new product launch timelines to ensure inventory readiness and supply continuity. Facilitate recurring internal supply reviews and external supplier business reviews; track OTD, shortage mitigation, and late line performance. Support ERP harmonization and procurement process documentation, contributing to system transitions and cross‑regional alignment. Drive continuous improvement in procurement maturity through cost modeling, supplier collaboration frameworks, and harmonization of business reviews and scorecards. Represent procurement in strategic planning forums, business reviews, and cross‑functional alignment discussions. Support regional risk mitigation and future manufacturing readiness through consignment inventory oversight, tariff impact planning, and coordination of material flows between fulfillment sites. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field. 7+ years of procurement experience in a manufacturing or global operations environment. 3+ years of people management experience, with demonstrated ability to manage change and grow team capabilities. Strong understanding of purchasing workflows, supply planning principles, and MRP/ERP systems (Oracle preferred). Proven ability to manage supplier relationships, navigate escalations, and ensure continuity of supply in a fast‑paced, global environment. Ability to balance day‑to‑day execution with strategic improvements and change management. Experience implementing procurement process improvements, ERP transitions, or system integrations. Lean, Six Sigma, or supply‑chain certification a plus. Benefits
