SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S POSITION: The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) provides behavioral and clinical support within a therapeutic day school environment serving students with emotional, behavioral, and developmental needs. The BCBA works collaboratively with school administrators, teachers, and support staff to design, implement, and monitor behavior intervention plans that promote student success in the classroom setting.

CLIENT'S LOCATION: Positions are located in New Lenox, IL

DESCRIPTION OF CLIENT'S DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)

Provide direct, hands‑on behavioral support within classrooms

Supervise and support RBTs, paraprofessionals, and behavioral staff

Model and coach effective behavior management strategies for school staff

Monitor student progress using data collection and analysis

Revise intervention plans based on data and student response

Participate in IEP meetings, staffing meetings, and team consultations

Ensure compliance with BACB ethical standards, school policies, and state regulations

Maintain accurate and timely documentation and reports

Collaborate with families, related service providers, and administrators as needed

CLIENT'S REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Active BCBA certification in good standing

Minimum 1 year of experience supervising RBTs or behavioral staff

Experience working in school‑based or therapeutic classroom settings preferred

Strong classroom management and crisis‑prevention skills

Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
