The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for providing reprocessed supplies and equipment required by all departments that render patient care. In this position, you'll ensure that all instruments are sterile, which will help maintain a safe environment for our patients. Hours: This part-time position will work 32 hours per week (4 - 8 hour shifts) Monday - Friday with no weekends or holidays. The pay range for this position is $21.78 hourly to $32.67 hourly. Compensation is determined based on years of experience and department equity. Responsibilities

The Sterile Processing Tech shall be knowledgeable and implement the decontamination, preparing and sterilization of surgical supplies and equipment. Assembles case carts containing consumable supplies and instrumentation. Cleans/decontaminates surgical instruments. Identifies and assembles multiple types of surgical instruments and instrument sets. Inspects instruments, replaces or send for repairs. This is not an all inclusive list of this job's responsibilities. The incumbent may be required to perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned. Qualifications

Required 1 year working with surgical instruments Basic Life Support (BLS) Preferred High School Diploma/GED Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT)
