The Dermatology Department at Cleveland Clinic is currently seeking a well-qualified
Mohs Surgeon
for a full-time faculty position. The successful applicant must be Board Certified in Dermatology with advanced fellowship training in Mohs Surgery and be board-certified or board‑eligible in Micrographic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology (ACGME). A strong commitment to delivering outstanding clinical care, a collaborative spirit, and a strong interest in teaching residents and fellows are essential.
Responsibilities As a Mohs surgeon, you will be responsible for performing Mohs micrographic surgery to treat skin cancers with precision and care. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, conduct thorough patient consultations, educate patients about the Mohs procedure and post‑operative care, and interpret and diagnose tissue samples to ensure complete removal of cancerous cells. Additionally, you will provide follow‑up care, monitor patients' progress post‑surgery, maintain accurate and detailed medical records, stay current with advancements in dermatologic surgery, and ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety guidelines.
