A Day in the Life as a Dental Hygienist As a Dental Hygienist, you will be a crucial part of our clinical team, providing exceptional preventive and periodontal care. Your responsibilities will include:

Performing essential preventive and periodontal procedures such as scaling, root planing, fluoride treatments, sealants, and teeth whitening.

Educating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, including brushing, flossing, appliance care, and maintaining periodontal health.

Conducting patient screenings by taking x-rays, performing periodontal assessments, and evaluating overall oral health.

Accurately documenting all clinical findings, treatments provided, and patient history in their records.

Observing and reporting any signs of patient distress or medical concerns to the attending dentist.

Maintaining a clean, sterilized, and well‑organized treatment room to ensure patient safety and comfort.

Collaborating effectively with a respectful and supportive dental team to deliver the best possible patient care.

What We're Looking For

An active Dental Hygiene License in the state of New York.

Certification in Local Anesthesia.

Certification in Laser Debridement.

A friendly, team‑oriented attitude with a passion for patient education and communication.

A reliable and dependable team player who is punctual and proactive in learning office technology and procedures.
