The Vertical Solutions Product Manager is at the forefront of driving innovation, creating value, and delivering tailored solutions for the healthcare industry. As a key member of this team, you will play a transformative role in shaping strategies, developing bespoke solutions, and enabling growth within the healthcare industry segment. This position requires a blend of strategic thinking, industry expertise, problem‑solving capabilities, and a customer‑centric approach to bridge the gap between market needs and organizational offerings.

You will be a catalyst for innovation, leveraging data, technology, and insights to solve complex challenges and unlock new opportunities.

Responsibilities

Healthcare Vertical Strategy Development

Leverage existing Zebra market data, and conduct in‑depth market research to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities within assigned vertical(s).

Collaborate with senior leadership to define and refine go‑to‑market strategies that align with healthcare needs.

Develop a deep understanding of client pain points, use cases, regulatory environments, and competitive landscapes to shape solutions.

Solution Design and Innovation

Partner with cross‑functional teams (e.g., product management, engineering, marketing, and sales) to co‑create innovative, industry‑specific solutions.

Use data analytics and emerging technologies (e.g., AI, IoT, cloud) to develop forward‑thinking solutions that address customer challenges.

Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring solutions are tailored to meet industry‑specific requirements and deliver measurable outcomes.

Stakeholder Collaboration

Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry influencers.

Serve as a trusted advisor, providing thought leadership on how to navigate industry disruptions and capitalize on opportunities.

Lead cross‑functional workshops, design thinking sessions, and innovation labs to ideate and prototype solutions.

Execution and Delivery

Oversee the end‑to‑end implementation of AVS healthcare solutions, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with customer expectations.

Monitor solution performance, gather feedback, and refine offerings to maximize impact and scalability.

Provide training and enablement support to sales and account teams to enhance their ability to articulate solution value.

Thought Leadership

Represent the AVS organization at industry events, conferences, and forums to showcase expertise and build brand credibility.

Publish whitepapers, case studies, and blogs to highlight successful vertical solutions and insights.

Stay ahead of industry trends, competitive movements, and regulatory changes to anticipate future needs.

Qualifications Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required

12+ years of experience including at least 3+ years overseeing product managers in related discipline or technology industry.

Strong full lifecycle Product and Project Management experience

Strong industry background/experience in Healthcare vertical strategy development

Solution design experience

Strong proficiency in data analysis, market research, and utilizing insights.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree preferred

Excellent interpersonal skills with strong ability to interact with customers

Strong communication skills including written, verbal and oral presentation skills as well as ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from senior management, managers, clients and customers.

Excellent collaborator

Ability to assess complex market landscapes and create focused, integrated product plans

Attention to detail, and strong understanding of complex products and systems.

Deep understanding of financial concepts including P&L, balance sheets, and ROI models with delivery of product through defined objectives.

Multi‑task and manage complex programs.

Advanced market knowledge in assigned product vertical, category or technology or solutions.

Highly creative with ability to think strategically and develop strategic/business plans.

The successful candidate will be a self‑starter; this individual must be adaptable, persuasive, tenacious and perceptive and be able to execute a well developed plan.

Strong planning and execution skills.

Advanced analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.

Demonstrates good judgement in decision making, applies knowledge and experience to guide decisions. Strong business acumen.

Excellent skills in Microsoft business applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Position Specific Information

Travel Requirements: 25%

Location: Role is required to be onsite in Holtsville, NY, Lincolnshire, IL, or Morris Plains, NJ office (Hybrid – Minimum of 3 days in the office per week).

Salary USD 153,900.00 – USD 230,900.00 Yearly
