Position: Neuro ICU / ICU Acute Care Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Ocala, FL (On-site)
Employment Type: Full Time
Salary: $32 - $45 per hour plus $7 night/weekend differential and potential SOB
Shifts Available: (We have multiple openings!)
Mixed / Rotating Weekends
Nights / Rotating Weekends
About the Role Step into a

as a Neuro ICU Acute Care RN and make a profound impact on patients with complex neurological conditions. You’ll provide
specialized critical care
for patients recovering from strokes, brain injuries, neurosurgical procedures, and other neurological emergencies. Your role is essential in monitoring neurological status, managing advanced interventions, and ensuring optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
Triage, assess, and provide direct nursing care to patients of all ages
Perform rapid assessments and respond to critical changes in patient condition
Develop and implement individualized care plans
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed
Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, and internal departments
Document assessments, interventions, and progress accurately
Educate patients and families on follow‑up care and resources
Maintain a safe, clean, patient‑focused environment
Support a collaborative team culture
Qualifications:
Minimum
1 year of recent acute care experience
in Med/Surg, PCU, ICU, or Emergency Department
Active RN license (state‑specific or multistate compact)
Certifications:
BLS (within 30 days of hire)
ACLS (within 90 days)
PALS (within 90 days)
Nonviolent Crisis Prevention/Intervention (within 6 months)
ENPC or TNCC (within 6 months)
Additional emergency or trauma certifications strongly preferred
Skills & Attributes:
Strong critical thinking and rapid decision‑making
Ability to multitask and prioritize in high‑stress situations
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Compassionate, detail‑oriented patient care
Comfort with advanced medical technology
Competitive Pay:
Base Rate:
$32–$45/hour
Differential:
Up to $7/hour for nights/weekends
Sign‑On Bonus:
$10K–$15K (paid over time based on shift and position)
