Join Our Team as a School-Based Mental Health Therapist! Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and families? Heart and Solutions, a strength-based counseling agency, is excited to invite dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Therapists to join our team in the a variety of School Systems. This is a school-based, full-time (40 hours per week) position offering a dynamic and supportive work environment.

Competitive Pay : $36.79–$39.00/hour, plus bonus opportunities. We compensate for BOTH billable and non-billable office hours. Salary estimate $50,000-$70,000

Clinical Supervision :
Supervision for temporary licensed providers
Play therapy supervision by a Registered Play Therapy Supervisor for those pursuing their RPT credential.

What You’ll Do:
Provide individual counseling to students.
Conduct assessments to develop personalized treatment plans.
Collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff to support student mental health and academic success.
Implement crisis intervention strategies and connect students with additional resources as needed.
Who We’re Looking For: We’re seeking enthusiastic counselors who are ready to make a meaningful impact in their community. To apply, you must hold licensure in Iowa as one of the following:
Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
Temporary Licensed Mental Health Counselor (t-LMHC)
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
Temporary Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (t-LMFT)
Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW)
Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
