Accountable for the provision of proficient patient care inclusive of complex patients. Assumes an expanded charge nurse role and assumes unit responsibility for orientation for new staff. May assume the role of care coordinator for a given group of patients, monitoring and evaluating patient care based on the unit standards of care. Actively involved in unit/service activities, contributing to outcomes from those groups.FT (40) position available, Days, Monday – Friday, 8 hour shifts. no weekends no holidaysA nursing opportunity to become part of a diverse and multidisciplinary radiation oncology team. A wider prospect to be a patient’s advocate, educator, and care-coordinator. For both Adult and Pediatric patients. Responsibilities: Procedural Assistance, Wound Care, Administer Contrast, Symptom management, telephone triage and Care Coordination.. Must possess a positive attitude, flexibility, excellent assessment /critical thinking skills, strong interpersonal communication skills, and ability for autonomous decision making. Recent acute and/or oncology experience preferred.
