Campus Recreation, Counseling & Psychological Services and Student Health Services offer an array of services, programs and activities in the state-of-the-art Student Wellness Center. Duties and Responsibilities Greet and assist patients at the pharmacy counter, ensuring a friendly and professional experience. Process sales for prescriptions and over-the-counter ( OTC ) products using the point-of-sale system. Handle credit card and university billing transactions with accuracy and accountability. Answer phones, provide general information, and route patient questions to the pharmacist or other pharmacy staff as appropriate. Assist with stocking shelves, organizing displays, and maintaining a clean, orderly retail space and checkout area. Support inventory activities such as receiving and shelving OTC products. Uphold patient confidentiality and follow Student Health Services policies and procedures. Contribute to a collaborative and student-centered team environment. Required Qualifications – Experience, Education, Knowledge & Skills High school diploma or equivalent. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Basic computer and point-of-sale system proficiency. Ability to handle transactions accurately and maintain confidentiality. Reliable, professional, and customer service oriented. Preferred Qualifications – Experience, Education, Knowledge & Skills Prior experience working in a pharmacy, healthcare, or retail setting. Familiarity with medical terminology or pharmacy operations. The Successful Candidate Will The ability to develop a working knowledge of Student Health offerings and general scope of healthcare services provided. Consistently exercise initiative and good judgment. Effectively operate computer systems, software, and point of sale equipment. Communicate effectively with students, employees and the public both in person and over the phone. Establish and maintain effective working relations with co-workers and the public in a team-oriented environment. Maintain and communicate confidential and sensitive information tactfully and professionally. Perform detailed work with a high a level of accuracy. Ability to operate with a growth mindset in a dynamic team oriented environment. Excitement regarding the opportunity to work in a new and modern health and wellbeing focused facility.
