Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
Job Overview Elliot Health System (EHS) located in Manchester, NH, is hiring a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our established Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The 30‑bed private and semi‑private unit focuses on family‑centered care, offering developmental screening, nutritional counseling, and integrative medicine.
Unit Features We provide a regional neonatal transport program, high‑frequency ventilation, nitric oxide therapy, whole‑body cooling, and a NICU follow‑up program. Subspecialty support includes pediatric surgery, pulmonary, neurology, gastroenterology, nephrology, medical urology, developmental‑behavioral pediatrics, and an active high‑risk MFM service.
Participation and Quality Program The NICU participates in the Vermont Oxford Network and Team STEPPS to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities In collaboration with the Neonatology team, you will create, implement, and coordinate individualized plans of care for high‑risk newborns. You will also provide education to patients’ parents and families, ensuring a rewarding experience throughout the newborn’s care.
Minimum Requirements
Skilled in PICC lines, delivery room management, lumbar punctures, and endotracheal intubations
Board certified as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
Eligible for a New Hampshire Nurse Practitioner license
Eligible for Federal DEA Certificate
Location Manchester, NH – a vibrant city along the Merrimack River, within an hour’s drive of Boston, the seacoast, lakes region, and White Mountains. The city offers four‑season living, excellent schools, and no state income or sales tax.
