Advocate Health is seeking an orthopedic surgeon with fellowship training in sports medicine to serve patients at the Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital in Barrington, Illinois and our new clinic in Hoffman Estates.

Position highlights

Full-time orthopedic hand surgeon

You will perform surgery at Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital, a 176-bed Level II acute care community hospital in Barrington, and see patients at our new clinic scheduled to open at the end of 2024 in Hoffman Estates

This is a start up practice with initial plans to include a total of three surgeons - hand, sports, and adult reconstruction

You will take call for your own patients with hospital call 1:14, and hand call one week in four

Excellent staff with MA and dedicated PA to be hired after start

You will enjoy good variety and a robust practice with patients referred from several markets and from a strong primary care base

All equipment and services on site including lab, x-ray, ultrasound, physical therapy, etc.

This brand new clinic is in a densely populated, highly visible location

Starting salary range: $594,225 - $594,225

Sign-on bonus eligible

Training and/or experience required

Fellowship training from an accredited orthopedic sports medicine program

Strong desire to build and grow a solid orthopedic practice
