Key Responsibilities
Oversee sports medicine department operations and lead daily practice/competition medical coverage for 1‑2 GSU athletic teams.
Assist with insurance coordination, mental health coordination, drug‑testing coordination, inventory/ordering for Olympic sports, inventory/ordering for football, emergency preparedness, or medical records/EMR/PPE coordination.
Perform administrative tasks related to department operations.
Communicate with staff, coaches, and team physicians.
Document injuries and illnesses.
Schedule physician appointments.
Verify student‑athlete insurance coverage.
Resolve transportation issues.
May assist with CPR instruction, credentialing, nutrition education coordination, intern recruitment, or intern oversight.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Sr. Associate AD for Sports Medicine or designee.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and two years of related experience; or a combination of education and related experience.
Compensation & Benefits Salary commensurate with experience.
