Hoar Construction
The Construction Coordinator role is an apprenticeship for students coming out of high school who are looking for opportunities in the construction industry. Participants will have access to on-the-job training, mentorship, and development opportunities. The program is a one-year minimum commitment with tremendous growth potential within the industry.
Responsibilities
Implement Crisis Control Plan
Assist with weekly job site safety inspections
Assist with daily guardrail / hole cover / safety net inspection
Attend daily/weekly safety meetings
Assist with verifying materials being installed match submittals and contract drawings
Help maintain QAP Program in Procore
Assist with material tracking log and material being on-site
Assist with development of final punch list
Understanding of project schedules
Assist with RFI and submittal processes
Document control management
Attend weekly trade partner meetings
Requirements
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
Must be able to work 40 hours per week
Desire to pursue a career in the construction industry
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Valid Driver’s License
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT The conditions herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Vision: See in the normal visual range with or without correction.
Hearing: Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
