Intake Insurance TMS Registered Nurse – Partial Hospital Outpatient Behavioral Health Part Time Days
Intake/Insurance/TMS Registered Nurse – Outpatient Behavioral Health job reflects NM’s mission, vision and values. The nurse adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics, Corporate Compliance Program and all relevant policies, procedures and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
Respond to inquiries regarding available services.
Complete nursing assessments for intakes and new admissions.
Conduct ongoing utilization review activities.
Perform follow‑up, case appeal and alternative dispute resolution activities as necessary.
Coordinate, schedule and provide clinical services for the TMS program.
Administer Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) sessions to identified patients.
Monitor patients for safety and effectiveness of treatment.
Communicate concerns and progress to treating psychiatrists and other clinical staff.
Demonstrate independent clinical judgment and collaborate with multiple departments and staff of various professional and clinical backgrounds.
Hours Mon, Tue, Thu 6:00 am – 2:30 pm
Qualifications
Graduated from an accredited School of Nursing with current Illinois licensure.
Three to five years of psychiatric nursing experience.
Familiarity with TMS, prior authorizations and intake processes preferred.
Preferred experience in Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT).
