Registered Nurse Qualifications
Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio or compact state
Minimum 1 year recent Operating Room RN experience in a hospital setting
Experience in Level 1 Trauma Center, vascular, neuro, and general surgery required
Current BLS certification
RN Surgery certification preferred
Ability to complete all onboarding requirements, including health screenings and background checks
Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities
Deliver direct patient care in the operating room, ensuring safety and comfort before, during, and after surgical procedures
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols in the OR
Monitor patient status and respond to emergencies during surgery
Accurately document all aspects of patient care and surgical procedures
Support trauma, vascular, neuro, and general surgery cases in a fast‑paced hospital setting
