Clinical Care Technician
Medical Unit-III, RWJ New Brunswick
Shift: Evening (24 hours per week, 3 shifts per week, 3p-11:30p, every other weekend and holidays)
Job Overview RWJBarnabas Health seeks a highly dedicated Clinical Care Technician to assist patients with activities of daily living and provide nursing care including vital signs, EKG, phlebotomy, bedside care, bathing, mouth care, and skin care.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
Basic Life Support (CPR) through American Heart Association required
Previous nursing assistant experience or clinical experience from an accredited nursing program preferred
Certified Nursing Assistant preferred
Essential Functions
Assist patients with activities of daily living and provide nursing care
Take vital signs, perform EKGs, perform phlebotomy, and assist with bedside care
Provide patient care based on physical, educational, safety, and related criteria appropriate to patient age
Communicate with patients and nursing colleagues regarding status of patient care
Participate in the collaboration of patient plan of care from admission to discharge for safe transitioning
