Essential Job Duties
Process bacterial cultures, mammalian cell cultures, and perform molecular, serological, histopathology, and in‑situ hybridization assays for the Intracellular Pathogens Research Laboratory (IPRL).
Use computer skills for data entry, result reporting, data summaries, and responding.
Qualifications
Minimum Experience/Education: Demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work.
Department Required Skills: Previous experience in a molecular, histopathology, or research laboratory setting.
Preferred Experience and Education:
Four‑year degree in Biology or equivalent related experience.
Benchtop laboratory skills, e.g., pipetting, culturing bacteria, microscope competence.
Prior experience or interest in human and veterinary medicine research is highly desirable.
