Overview Labcorp is dedicated to providing vital health information to clients and patients. We are looking for a skilled phlebotomist to support our hospital operations by performing blood collections and delivering exceptional customer service. This role offers continuous growth opportunities within the organization.

Work Schedule Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM with rotating weekends and holidays.

Job Responsibilities

Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.

Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.

Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.

Process incoming hospital specimens from nursing units.

Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.

Maintain patient and specimen information logs.

Provide superior customer service to all patients.

Administrative and clerical duties as necessary.

Assist the laboratory team in receiving and distributing specimens to appropriate departments.

Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.

Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is preferred.

Previous experience as a phlebotomist.

Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently or in a team environment.

Comfortable working under minimal supervision.

Reliable transportation required.

Flexibility to work overtime as needed.

Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
