Phlebotomist/Medical Screener – Plasma Donation Center

Perform venipuncture, manage donor reactions, program and troubleshoot plasmapheresis machines, and support center operations. Report to the Plasma Center Manager. How You Will Contribute
Greet donors and oversee donor floor flow. Perform venipuncture and program plasmapheresis machines. Monitor donors during donation and manage reactions. Setup, verify, operate and troubleshoot plasmapheresis equipment. Prime and disconnect disposable sets on plasmapheresis machines. Stock supplies, break down cartons and assist with disposal. Record donor vitals and monitor electronic donor questionnaire system. Perform finger sticks, test samples and record hematocrit, protein and weight. Enter donor information into the Donor Information System (DIS). Coordinate donors to donor floor and compensate donors using the Debit Card system. Support continuous improvement using 5S, Value Stream Mapping and Kaizen. What You Bring To Takeda
High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to walk, stand, lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach as required. Work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Lift up to 32 lbs. (occasionally 50 lbs.). Fine motor coordination and depth perception. Prolonged glove wear (90% of tasks) to reduce bloodborne pathogen exposure. Minimum 1 year experience in a customer or patient‑facing role.
