After 2 shift call-offs per 13-week assignment, all contracted hours are guaranteed
ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience
Active RN license (state or compact) – Registered Nurse jobs in North Carolina
Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
Must pass EKG exam (no exceptions)
Experience with Epic charting system
Travel nursing experience required
Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs
Not accepting local candidates within 50 miles of facility
Must provide interview availability upon submission
ICU RN Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill adult and geriatric patients
Manage patient assignments with ratios of 1:2-3 in the ICU
Perform and assist with advanced ICU procedures: arterial line management, central line care, ventilator management, titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips, emergency medications
Interpret and manage dysrhythmias, obtain and interpret 12-lead EKGs
Administer blood products and continuous IV sedation/paralytics
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including pharmacy, phlebotomy, and IV teams
Float to similar critical care units as needed to support hospital operations
Participate in orientation and complete required modules prior to start
