Position Overview
Join our team at Florida Parishes Human Services Authority as a Social Worker providing Functional Family Therapy–Child Welfare (FFT-CW) to youth and families involved in the criminal justice system, DCFS, or wraparound services. This is a community-based position, with services delivered primarily in the homes of families across Tangipahoa, St. Helena, and Livingston Parishes. We’re looking for a dedicated clinician who is comfortable working flexible, non-traditional hours—including some weekends—and who thrives in a field-based role that rarely involves office time. Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment and discharge plans using the FFT-CW model Deliver in-home, evidence-based therapy to families, ensuring continuity of care Collaborate with the FFT-CW team and receive ongoing support and oversight from FFT, LLC Prepare and submit progress reports to social service agencies and referral sources as required Assist families in accessing appropriate community resources when needed Attend required trainings and webinars to enhance skills in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health and substance use disorders Coordinate care with Peer Support Specialists, Case Management, and Care Coordinators to support family members with complex needs Position-Specific Details

Social Worker 1:
$19.88/hour minimum – $33.08/hour maximum Social Worker 2:
$21.27/hour minimum – $35.40/hour maximum Social Worker 3:
$22.76/hour minimum – $37.88/hour maximum Social Worker 4:
$24.35/hour minimum – $40.53/hour maximum Qualifications
Permanent status will not be granted without a Louisiana LMSW or LCSW license; the Certified Social Worker (CSW) credential will not be accepted for permanent status. Possession of a current Louisiana license to practice as a Licensed Master's Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Certified Social Worker (CSW) plus a master’s degree in social work is required. We strongly recommend that individuals who have substance abuse treatment experience or have passed the ADC, AADC, or EMAC exam at the time of appointment apply to this posting. How to Apply
