At Lineage, our Maintenance Technicians play a key role in keeping our facilities operating smoothly. In this role, you’ll work with a variety of systems: mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration (including ammonia) to help maintain, repair, and improve the equipment that powers our cold storage operations.### **What You’ll Do*** Install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, and building systems—including plumbing, electrical, and refrigeration (ammonia).* Perform routine inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance to keep refrigeration systems running safely and efficiently.* Troubleshoot and repair motors, wiring, and electrical or electronic components according to electrical codes and standards.* Maintain and repair building infrastructure and material-handling equipment.* Accurately complete daily work orders and log all tasks in our computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).* Communicate maintenance updates, inspection results, and equipment needs with your team and leadership.* Support outside contractors as needed to ensure safety standards are met.* Safely operate motorized lifts and other equipment for inspections and maintenance.### **What We’re Looking For*** **3+ years** of mechanical experience maintaining motorized lifts, warehouse, processing, or manufacturing equipment (or a combination of experience and trade school).* **2+ years** of experience in industrial refrigeration (ammonia, Freon, and/or CO₂).* Experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.* Strong communication and problem-solving skills—you’ll work closely with both technical and non-technical team members.* Computer proficiency, especially in Word and Excel.* Ability to lift 40 lbs (18 kg) and work in various temperature environments—from -20°F in cold storage to 100°F in dry storage (with provided PPE).* Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends if needed.* Commitment to safety and following all company and regulatory standards.* **Successful completion of Refrigeration Operator I (CARO) or equivalent certification within 6 months of hire**.You’ll be part of a team that values safety, teamwork, and growth.
