Position: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) – Geriatric Psychiatry
We are seeking a
Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
to join our
mobile geriatric psychiatry team . In this
fee-for-service role , you’ll have autonomy, flexible scheduling, and comprehensive support from a
dedicated medical assistant and scribe —so you can focus on patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment for geriatric patients
Manage conditions such as depression, anxiety, dementia, and behavioral disorders
Prescribe and adjust psychotropic medications based on patient needs
Collaborate with primary care providers, therapists, and interdisciplinary care teams
Document clinical encounters accurately and efficiently with support staff
Deliver patient and family education on mental health and treatment plans

Qualifications
Active PMHNP license in CA
Experience in geriatric psychiatry, long-term care, or mobile healthcare (preferred)
