Minimum Qualifications EQUIVALENCY STATEMENT :
1 year of higher education can be substituted for 1 year of directly related work experience (Example: bachelor’s degree = 4 years of directly related work experience).

Requires little to no related experience.
Electrician, II:
Requires at least 1 year of related experience.
Electrician, III :
Requires 3+ years of related experience.
Preferences Licensed or have ability to license as an apprentice electrician in the State of Utah and demonstrated human relation and effective communications skills or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience) required. Continued compliance with the qualified apprentice program is required. This will include classroom participation, and on the job training as required by the program. Dependent upon department of assignment, a valid Utah driver’s license may be required. Applicants must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the position description.
