About Your Role As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will provide one-to-one services to children and adolescents between the ages of 2-24 who have serious emotional or behavioral disturbances. Working under the guidance of a Behavioral Consultant, you will help clients improve independent, age-appropriate functioning to levels that require less or no service intervention. You will travel daily to the clients’ homes, schools, or service locations, following the prescribed treatment plan and delivering behavioral interventions and consequences. Your role includes setting boundaries to prevent dependency on your services, supporting parents and adult professionals, educating and training parents or young adults to use skills learned, providing positive reinforcement, and delivering culturally aware and competent care.

Does the following apply to you?

Ability to pass PA Criminal, Child Abuse, and FBI Clearances and at least one of the following:

Certified as BCaBA, RBT, or BCAT.

2 years’ prior Behavior Health Certification or Behavior Analysis Certification from an accredited organization such as the National Commission for Certifying Agencies or the American National Standards Institute.

High School diploma or equivalent and completed the 40‑hour RBT Training (RBT Task List) Certification, or ability to complete this within the first 10 days of hire (you will be paid for this training time).

Minimum of 2 years’ experience providing Behavioral Health services.
