The Department of Curriculum and Instruction in the College of Education and Health Professions at the University of Arkansas is seeking candidates for a nine‑month Teaching Assistant Professor of Educational Technology with a specialized focus in corporate or higher education‑focused instructional or learning design, advanced learning technologies, and technical skill development. The Teaching Assistant Professor of Educational Technology is a full‑time, nine‑month position to begin August 10, 2026. The successful candidate will join a vibrant team of faculty in a department recognized for excellence in teaching, research, faculty development, and student success. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing students to create, design, develop, implement, and evaluate innovative, technology‑driven learning solutions using industry‑standard technologies such as AI, XR (immersive), learning analytics, and web‑based platforms. The Teaching Assistant Professor of Educational Technology will be expected to teach four courses per semester at the graduate and undergraduate levels, in person and online including courses in instructional design, learning technologies, and educational technologies, as well as other courses in the department outside of the educational technology program; participate in student advisement and mentoring; contribute to course and curriculum development that
