as a Per Diem School-Based Mental Health Clinician. ESS is a leading provider of school-based mental health services for K–12 students, serving over 6,000 students across 12 states.
About the Role ESS seeks a Per‑Diem Float School‑Based Mental Health Clinician to travel to partner school districts and provide coverage when primary clinicians are unavailable.
Key Responsibilities
Provide individual, group, and family therapy.
Deliver clinical interventions that support emotional and academic stability.
Engage families through programming and parent support groups.
Coordinate referrals and collaborate with school and ESS teams.
Maintain accurate documentation and uphold professional standards.
Qualifications
Master's degree and active clinical license (LMSW/LCSW, LPCA/LPC, or LMFTA/LMFT) in the state of service.
Minimum 2 years’ experience with children or adolescents facing behavioral or emotional challenges.
Strong communication, problem‑solving, and documentation skills.
Experience collaborating with school districts preferred.
