A Cat Hospital , is hiring a Licensed Veterinary Technician to support our feline‑exclusive clinic in Henderson, Nevada. The ideal candidate is dependable, skilled, and able to support patient care and team workflow effectively.
Compensation & Schedule
Salary: $26.00 – $29.00 per hour, based on experience, education, certifications, licensure, and location.
Schedule: Full‑time, 8‑ or 10‑hour shifts, Monday‑Friday (Saturdays starting 2026).
Location: 2758 N Green Valley Pkwy, Henderson, NV 89014.
Benefits: Full‑time qualified LVTs receive annual continuing‑education funds and license reimbursement.

Job Responsibilities
Assist veterinarians in the examination and treatment of cats.
Maintain medical records and prepare reports for veterinarians.
Calculate and administer medications.
Provide surgical support and monitor anesthesia on feline patients, including high‑risk, medically complex feline cases.
Remain calm with “spicy” and fractious cats.
Perform dental radiographs and dental prophylaxis.
Execute advanced, safe handling and positioning for digital radiographs.
Perform ultrasound‑guided cystocentesis and place urinary catheters.
Utilize and maintain in‑house laboratory equipment (Idexx/VetScan).
Use veterinary medical record management software.
Provide outstanding customer service and time‑management skills.
Show respect toward all team members.
Communicate clearly with clients, doctors, and all staff members.
Qualifications
Licensed Veterinary Technician in the state of Nevada, or eligible to transfer/obtain license within 3 months of hire.
Minimum 2 years’ experience working as a credentialed veterinary technician.
Degree from an AVMA‑accredited Veterinary Technology program preferred, but not required.
