Position Description Primary Job Responsibilities

Unload, organize, and prepare steel materials for erection.

Erect structural steel components, including columns, beams, bar joists, stairs, catwalks, handrails, ladders, railings, and miscellaneous supports, in accordance with drawings and specifications.

Erect amusement ride structures, including columns, tracks, catwalks, and handrails, per manufacturer requirements.

Lay out and install roof and floor framing, edge angles, bent plates, bridging, and metal deck.

Set and grout precast concrete hollow-core planks.

Bolt and weld steel connections, including moment connections, to required tolerances and quality standards.

Cut, fit, and weld steel using torches and welding equipment.

Install fall protection systems, including cable rail.

Signal and coordinate with equipment operators during lifts and placement.

Perform work efficiently while meeting job-specific tolerances and productivity expectations.

Follow all company safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements Desired Qualifications/Skills

High School Diploma or GED required

Rigging experience required

Mechanical ability to perform millwright type functions required

Sufficient education or an equivalent combination of experience, education and training that provides the desired knowledge, skills and characteristics to perform duties of the role

10 Hour OSHA Certification or willingness to obtain within ninety (90) days of employment

Must maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record

Ability to work at heights without fear

Ability to perform on a regular basis in outside weather conditions consisting of wet, hot, humid, and/or freezing temperatures, also contending with dirt and dust

Must be willing and able to travel to jobsites which may require overnight stays away from home

Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency

Must have a good work ethic, and the ability to understand and carry out written or verbal instructions
