We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Used Car Manager to join the team at Alexandria Mazda. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the used car department, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth. This role requires a hands‑on leader who can manage inventory, motivate a sales team, and maintain profitable operations.
Responsibilities
Manage the daily operations of the used car department, including inventory acquisition and pricing strategies. Lead, train, and motivate the used car sales team to achieve sales goals and deliver exceptional customer service. Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase used car sales and maximize profitability. Maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business. Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly. Collaborate with other departments, including finance and service, to provide seamless customer experiences. Manage budgets, monitor expenses, and report on departmental performance to senior management. Requirements
Proven experience as a Used Car Manager or similar role in the automotive industry. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. In-depth knowledge of used car market trends and pricing techniques. Ability to analyze sales data and develop actionable strategies. Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
