The campus also includes a 45,000 square foot Medical Plaza housing the Clark Clinic, Diagnostic Center for Women, Center for Rehabilitation, Specialty Clinic and Anticoagulation Clinic. Unit Summary
The Medical Surgical Unit provides medical oversight for patients with chronic or acute illness, and patients recovering from illness or surgical procedures. Our fast paced Med/Surg environment prepares nurses to handle anything thrown their way as they grow in their career. Position Summary
This position coordinates total nursing care for patients, participates in patient and family teaching, acts as a patient advocate and works as part of a team with ancillary and non‑nursing departments. Assesses the patient's condition and nursing care needs Sets goals and prescribes appropriate nursing interventions to meet physical, psychological, social and rehabilitative needs of patients Develops individual nursing care plans Implements care plans and makes revisions as needed Evaluates patient care outcomes Collaborates with physicians and other hospital employees Administers medications, treatments and therapies. Communicates with patients and oversees provision of care. Minimum Qualifications
Associates Degree in Nursing, required KY RN state licensure or compact licensure, required Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, preferred Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire Benefits
